Why I Deleted my Old Blog + The Organic Feminine

organic feminine soul business

I recently archived my blog which had 2+ years of articles on it.

And it made me think about how we love to cling to old ways, feeling fearful that if we drop what isn’t needed anymore, we’ll be lacking. In a practical sense for me, this looked like deleting blogs that were good drivers of traffic to my site, and wondering if that was the best move - while also knowing that my energies and priorities have shifted this year. And with this, the resonance I create will be different, attracting different women who are also in this new resonance.

My other reason was to maintain more privacy online, to not be as open on these more public spaces that anyone can engage with. I want to instead create a more tiered approach, where I continue to still offer writing via the blog, but keep the deeper, more personal insights for my email community and for those who engage in my offerings.

I’ll write more on this soon (update: You Don't Need to Commodify Your Personal Life & Vulnerabilities on Social Media to Grow a Business) but it’s become clear that we don’t need to abandon our need for privacy, just to create resonance or connection.

In fact, this is something that’s coming through really clearly at the moment- having reverence around what we share, and knowing that there are no “rules” that say we need to over expose ourselves online just to grow our businesses.

Building on this, another thing that I’ve been moving through over the past 2 years, is bringing the same sense of conviction and sovereignty that I have in other areas of my life, into business.

I guess when we’re newer at something, it can be harder to trust ourselves, which is when we start listening to everyone else and thinking that we have to compromise ourselves.

I talk a lot about the unconscious rejection of the feminine in our world, and how it plays out in so many areas of our lives, especially for women. But it’s been really interesting to watch how it plays out in the business world.

Business, in its traditional iteration, has felt deeply challenging for me. Not because it’s hard to understand, or I don’t know what to do within the scope of traditional business structures (in fact, understanding strategy, processes and structures feels very logical and easy for me to understand). But instead, because business in its most pervasive iteration plays so deeply into the energetic of needing to solve and fix, to have an agenda around everything- to forsake naturalness and artistry for the sake of profit. Business as it is feels old, energetically dry, and not a place that the feminine can relax into, without being compromised in some way.

So this is what I’ve been unraveling- how does the feminine soul fit into business?

I feel like my cells have memories of a time where contribution was organic and natural. And maybe this is in an ancient past (or future). A different realm to where we are. But it’s a memory of being able to share and express and serve, with no agenda or needing to find a niche, or wondering if you were “solving a problem.”

And as I wrote that, tears started flowing, as though a visceral part of me is grieving for being forced to abandon that naturalness.

I crave this organic way of life so much. A life where there’s no need to have a clearly defined agenda about everything. Where we have the space and time to respond to life as needed. To be there in the ways we are organically required. To laugh and relate and to just be truly HERE. To naturally look after and look out for the people around us, without fear of becoming exhausted because we’re also trying to make a living.

A life where the parameters for contribution are natural and free flowing, not driven by economic value.

These feelings make me determined to anchor in a new paradigm that supports the feminine in business.

A place where there isn’t this undertone of, “Yes, you can have your feminine ways, BUT only if you’re still able to achieve within distorted masculine paradigms.” (and when I say this, I am not saying that the masculine in its pure iterations is distorted- rather, that when masculine structures, energies and systems are not balanced in some way through the frequencies of the feminine, distortions tend to abound).

I think this happens so much because the feminine is not in service to utility, while utility is the god of the traditional business world. This has left little room for artistry and beauty in this realm, and has left business dry, barren of soul and sacrificing the integrity of the feminine for productivity and profit.

The Organic Feminine

Something that’s coming through strongly at the moment is the necessity to reclaim our organic feminine frequencies. This isn’t the “boss babe”, divine feminine of instagram spirituality/self-development/business OR the placating, people pleasing, martyring feminine that we associate so much with more traditional or dogmatic religious understandings of femininity.

Instead, it’s the feminine that is convicted and strong in her gentleness, remaining anchored in her value and holding the frequencies required to infuse the value of feminine being and spiritual heart into the world. Instead of adapting herself to align with distortions and projections, she is graceful and secure, building up an energetic portal for others to step into.

Current offerings

This resurgence of the organic feminine will be the focus of my 1:1 work moving forward- rather than offering individual healing sessions, I’ll only be offering a longer term feminine healing mentorships. This will allow space and time to soften, unravel and move into the depths of feminine being, without rushing or forcing outcomes.

My other 1:1 focus will be supporting other feminine-led solopreneurs, creatives and small businesses with creating and growing their business in a way that deeply supports the feminine soul. This will be done under the umbrella of Feminine Business, where there is space and necessity for naturalness, trust and softening, alongside organic strategy that doesn’t play into distorted templates of overconsumption or compromising the feminine soul.

It feels so necessary at the moment to do something really tangible and grounded, as the past few years I’ve spent a lot of time in the ethers! (although there will still be a large element of healing and energetics within this service, as I don’t believe it can be separated from strategy).
